1-6-10 Dr. visit

I was to the doctor today for my check-up. I have gotten a great report! They now consider me "Diabetes Free". Now those were absolutely beautiful words!!!! =)
The doctor and the nutritionist were very pleased. They do want me to have more food protein at meal time though. For example: an egg, an ounce of soft flaky fish, 1/4 cup of cottage cheese, etc. Then between meals, do a protein shake. That will bump up my protein intake, and also add a few calories. My medications were cut some more too! Just such a great feeling! I am 45, but getting healthier than I've been in YEARS!!! Maybe the age clock will start going backwards??? Maybe by June, my birthday I will actually turn 44 instead of 46?!?!? Oh yeah... and in a few years.. I will be the same age as my kids!?!? Go figure!

Today at the clinic my blood pressure was 110/64

My blood sugars are running 103, 100, 108

Weight loss so far has been -35 since surgery... -84 from my highest.

I have been SO thankful for ALL of my wonderful supporters! I appreciate each one of you so much. Today I came across a little saying that I want to share with you.

"There's no such thing as a single-handed success. When you acknowledge all those in your corner, you propel yourself and your supporters to greater heights."

So... together, we will be a great success in my healthier future! Thank you my team!!!
Love, Eydie =)
